Modality A. Llavor Grants for innovative projects with the potential for being incorporated into the production sector

The funding of innovation projects must correspond to phases 1 and 2 of the scale of technological maturity (TRL).
The projects must be aimed at boosting protection for knowledge created an initial (pre-prototype) testing. It will try to define the route of marketing, business model, analyze technological and commercial viability, design proof of concept.

The research teams of universities in the Catalan university system, research centers, technology centers, hospital foundations and non-profit institutions. They must have the main research activity and headquarters in Catalonia.

The participating research teams must be responsible for the generation of knowledge or the technology that they want to value.

Research teams must be trained, at least, for two people, who must meet the following requirements:

1. TheThe Responsible Scientist must be in possession of a doctor's degree. He or she must be statutorily or contractually linked to the participating university or centre with a full-time dedication.
2. The Entrepreneurial Scientific or Entrepreneurial Scientist must be admitted in a doctoral program or in possession of the title of doctor at the time of presentation of the application. In the event that the candidate is in possession of a doctor's degree, from the obtaining of the doctorate degree they must have passed 10 years.

Business Mentor must be incorporated into the research team once the projects have been selected to form the Llavor team:

• He or she cannot belong to companies or entities in which members of the research team have any: Positions of responsibility, shareholdings, recognised advisory activities.
• He or she can not receive any kind of remuneration for the development of this activity.

Projects must be executed within nine months from the day following the date of publication of the award resolution.

L'import de cada ajut als projectes LLAVOR és d'una quantia fixa de 20.000,00 euros, dels quals 10.000,00 euros van a càrrec dels fons FEDER i ha de ser avançats amb càrrec al pressupost de l'AGAUR assignat a la convocatòria. Els ajuts concedits se sotmeten al règim fiscal vigent en el moment del seu atorgament.
