What do you need to know?
Modality B. Producte: Grants for the obtaining of prototypes and the valorisation and transfer of the results of the research created by research teams in Catalonia
The grants are intended for innovation projects that have completed the conceptualization of a transfer plan and have identified a candidate for a product or service to be developed. They should have a proposal for value generation based on the proposed technology and/or knowledge, in accordance with the validations carried out.
The objective of the grants is to finance structured demonstrative activities that allow for the achievement of a proof of concept and/or validation of the value generation proposal, in order to reduce uncertainties regarding the technical and commercial viability of the technology or knowledge under development.

The research teams of universities in the Catalan university system, research centers, technology centers, hospital foundations and non-profit institutions. They must have the main research activity and headquarters in Catalonia.

Participating research teams must be responsible for creating the knowledge or technology whose valorisation is sought.
Research teams must be made up of at least two members, who have to meet the following requirements:
- The Responsible Scientist must possess a doctorate and must be statutorily or contractually linked to the workforce of the participating university or centre and work there on a full-time basis.
- The Entrepreneur Scientist must be at the predoctoral or postdoctoral stage.
This procedure does not have any fees associated.
