What do you need to know?
Certain activities and facilities are legally required to have self-protection plans in place in order to prevent and control possible risk situations caused by internal or external factors.
Persons qualified to prepare and sign these self-protection plans must first obtain accreditation from the Generalitat.
Businesses and professionals
- Individuals who wish to carry out or are carrying out their activity as qualified technical personnel for the preparation of self-protection plans.
- Legal entities, companies, or public administrations that wish to accredit personnel under their responsibility as qualified technical personnel for the preparation of self-protection plans.
You can modify data at any time.
No additional documentation is required.
There is no fee for this procedure.

Technicians accredited to prepare self-protection plans must communicate the modification of their personal data (postal address, e-mail address, telephone number) to the General Directorate of Civil Protection.
This procedure can only be carried out online.
To process the form you can identify yourself with idCAT Mobile or a digital certificate of the individual, legal entity or related person. If you identify yourself, you can send the form without signing it.

The system will validate the data and check those that are mandatory. If errors are detected in the data entered or mandatory data are missing, the system will warn you with an error message.
From the same form you will be able to attach the optional additional documentation and accrediting representation documentation, if applicable.
The form must be signed with idCAT Mobile or the digital certificate of the individual, legal entity or related person in order to send it. If you have identified yourself digitally when starting the application, you will be able to send the form without signing it.
Once the form has been sent, the system will generate a receipt (containing, among other data, the registration number and the date and time of submission) that certifies that it has been correctly registered in the system.
If you are unable to complete the procedure due to a system failure, please try again later.
- If the incident persists more than 24 hours, you can contact the Departament d'Interior through the General request with electronic signature. To do so, go to page 2 of the application form and in the section Where it is addressed select Departament d'Interior.
- If, however, the incident is also affecting the General Request, you can send us the communication by means of a query, complaint or suggestion (CQS) to the contact mailbox of the Home Affairs website.
- Alternatively, if the incident persists and you cannot wait to complete the procedure, you can use the general request form that you will find on the website or the electronic office of your city council (or any other Public Administration). In this case, remember that the calculation of deadlines may vary and that you will have to wait a few days to be able to follow up the procedure from your Private Area.
