What do you need to know?
Aid for women victims of domestic violence with a certain income level and with particular difficulties finding work.
To apply for aid, you must prove that you have been a victim of gender-based violence, with a judgment, a court order of protection measures, a report from the Public Prosecutor's Office or official confirmation that you are a victim of gender-based violence.
The aid is equivalent to six months of unemployment benefit. In certain cases, the amount may be higher. It is paid as one lump sum.
You cannot apply for aid through a generic request.
You are not entitled to this aid if you receive unemployment benefit, guaranteed income or active insertion income (RAI), unemployment benefit for victims of gender violence or any other contributory benefit or allowance.
To women who are victims of violence perpetrated by their partner or ex-partner.
At any time while there are protection measures in force or, if they have not yet been established, if you are officially acknowledged as a victim of gender-based violence.
- Attachment with the information of the members of the family unit
- Document confirming that you are a recognised victim of gender violence:
- Protection order in force issued to protect you.
- Court judgement confirming the facts that support the protection order and establishes the protection measures. The judgement may be final, or final and binding.
- Report from the Public Prosecutor's Office stating that there are indications that you are a victim of gender-based violence, until protective measures are established.
- Official confirmation of the situation of gender violence.
- Report from the Employment Service of Catalonia, pursuant to article 15 of Decree 80/2015.
- Request for bank transfer for payments from the Treasury of the Generalitat (SEPA area). You must be the account holder.
- Certificate from the bank proving the identity of the account holder.
If this is your case, you must also provide evidence that:
- You are a foreign national: the document that identifies you (NIE - foreign national ID issued in Spain, passport, among others).
- You are the legal representative or de facto guardian: the document that acknowledges you as such.
- You have dependent children: the family book or Civil Registry document that proves kinship.
- You have a disability: the certificate of the degree of disability, if it has been recognised outside Catalonia.
- If you do not authorise us to consult the data that the relevant authority has about you:
- The certificate of cohabitation.
- The document from the Tax Administration that certifies the rights or income that you have or may have.
- You receive, in total, less than 75% of the Multi-Purpose Public Indicator of Income (IPREM) per month, without taking into account the two extraordinary payments.
- You have particular difficulties finding work.
- You are registered in any municipality in Catalonia.
- You have protection measures in place or, if they have not yet been established, you are officially acknowledged as a victim of gender-based violence, with a judgement, a court order of protection measures, a report from the Public Prosecutor's Office or official acknowledgement as a victim of gender-based violence.
- You cannot be receiving:
- Unemployment benefit.
- Active insertion income (RAI) for gender violence or unemployment benefit for victims of gender violence
- Other contributory benefits.
You must prove that you meet the requirements by providing the relevant documentation (section: “Documentation”)
You do not have to pay any fee for this procedure.
The amount of this aid is equivalent to six months of unemployment benefit.
In some cases, the amount is higher:
- 12 months of unemployment benefit, if you have a disability equal assessed as 33% or more, or a family member or foster child.
- 18 months of unemployment benefit, if:
- You have two or more relatives or foster children or a disability assessed as 33% or more and one relative or foster child, or
- A relative or foster child with a disability assessed as greater than 33%.
- 24 months of unemployment benefit, if you have a disability of more than 65% and:
- A foster family member with a disability of more than 33% or
- Two or more foster family members with a disability of more than 33%.

Within three months, at most. If you do not receive a response within this period, you must assume that we have not accepted your application.
Can you claim?
Yes. You can file an appeal within one month to:
- The person who issued the judgement or court order or
- the head of the Ministry of Equality and Feminism.
