What do you need to know?
Training centres located in Catalonia that are interested in teaching the training modules for access control personnel for certain shows and recreational activities must notify the Directorate General of Security Administration of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
This procedure can only be done online. The documentation you provide through other means will not be taken into account and will not be counted for filing date purposes.
Training centres interested in training access control personnel.
It can be requested at any time.
The requirements to be accredited by means of the affidavit, included in the communication form, are:
- That the training centre is duly authorised as an educational centre by the competent authorities of the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Proof of this authorisation must remain at the training centre.
- That the training centre has the following facilities and technical and didactic means:
- Classrooms (where theory and practical classes will be held, either in the same centre, gymnasium or sports hall). In the event that these classes are held in a gymnasium or sports hall, it is necessary to have a copy of the contract signed between the centre and the place where the classes related to self-defence techniques will be held).
- Computer equipment.
- Projector or overhead projector and screen, or similar.
- Manikin for cardiopulmonary resuscitation practices and the corresponding consumables.
- Disposable protectors for mouth-to-mouth ventilation during practices.
- Mat type surface for the positioning of the manikin and the student during the exercise.
- Video, television and video camera or appropriate technological devices to record the practical performances so that the student can view their own performance and facilitate self-learning.
- That the training centre has hired the necessary teachers to teach the different training modules, both theoretical and practical, and that these teachers have the specific qualifications to teach each module, a degree in law for the theory module, a degree in nursing for first aid training, a degree in psychology or sociology for training in basic self-control techniques and a degree in martial arts master-trainer for self-defence techniques, in accordance with the provisions of Decree 112/2010, of 31 August, which approves the Regulation of public entertainment and recreational activities. The accreditation or copy of these qualifications must remain at the training centre.

You must identify yourself when submitting the form with idCAT Mobile or the digital certificate of the individual, legal entity and/or related person.

- Choose to apply using the digital certificate of the individual, legal entity and/or related person.
- With digital certificate: you can choose the option "Download the form with embedded personal data", and you will also need it to sign this application. Consult the valid certificates for carrying out this procedure.
- The system will validate the data and check those that are mandatory. If errors are detected in the data entered or mandatory data are missing, the system will warn you with an error message.
- From the same form it will be necessary to download, fill in and attach the mandatory Annex of specific data for the authorisation of a training centre for access control personnel. In this mandatory annex, the data that prove compliance with the requirements demanded by the affidavit are declared. Before submitting the application, it is advisable to have the mandatory annex completed in order to attach it to the electronic communication.
- Once the process and the data have been validated, the system will generate a receipt (containing, among other data, the registration number and the day and time of submission) that certifies that the document has been correctly registered in the system, and a notice to pay the fee, with a link to make the payment online. You must provide your name and surname, identification and credit/debit card information that you will use to make the payment.

If you are unable to complete the procedure due to a system failure, please try again later.
- If the incident persists more than 24 hours, you can contact the Ministry of Home Affairs through the Generic request with electronic signature. To do so, in the section "On va adreçada" (To whom is it addressed) select "Departament d'Interior" (Ministry of Home Affairs), topic "XXX", subtopic "XXX".
- If, however, the incident is also affecting the Generic Request, you can send us the communication by means of a query, complaint or suggestion (CQS) to the contact mailbox of the Home Affairs website.
- Alternatively, if the incident persists and you cannot wait to complete the procedure, you can use the generic request form that you will find on the website or the electronic office of your city council (or any other Public Administration). In this case, remember that the calculation of deadlines may vary and that you will have to wait a few days to be able to follow up the procedure from your Private Area / Company Channel Private Area.

In this verification process, the Police of the Generalitat - Mossos d'Esquadra may inspect the training centre.
The inaccuracy, falsehood or omission of an essential nature of the declared data will imply the impossibility to continue with the exercise of the related activity from the moment in which these circumstances are known and recorded, without prejudice to the liabilities that may arise.
