What do you need to know?
The yacht master's license allows the holder to pilot recreational motorised and sailing vessels of up to 20 metres with a motor of suitable power. It also authorises the user to pilot vessels in the space between the coast and up to 60 sea miles offshore.
People who have passed the theoretical part in Catalonia and have done internships in academies approved by the Generalitat de Catalunya can apply for the issuance and renewal of a degree online.
In all other cases, the procedure must be done in person.
Immediate issuance and renewal service: documentation can be submitted to certain offices (see Step 1 - In person) to issue and renew the degree and obtain it on the spot.
Duplicate cards can only be requested to the Administration that issued the card. All those qualifications issued by other Autonomous Communities or by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy must carry out the corresponding procedure in the body that issued the card.

The deadline to apply for a duplicate card is as long as the card is valid.
Receipt of payment of the fee (bar code to make the payment to CaixaBank; the ID card of the applicant must be informed. Entity: Nautical and Fishing Training School; Concept: Leisure nautical titles, Assigned Entity Code: 0417125).
- Having the current title.
- The cuurent card must be issued by Generalitat of Catalonia.

The card will be duplicated,
- for nautical titles issued before September 1, 2021, or in case of lost, stolen, damaged card, or changed data.
- for nautical titles issued after 1 September 2021, due to a change in personal or contact details. A duplicate with more attributinos than the original title will never be issued. In this case a new issue must be applied for.
Important: the expiration date on the card must be the same as on the original one.
