What do you need to know?
Action for damages is the consequence of damage produced on other property, only in cases when the victim cannot provide any type of details of the offender/s and has not been the victim of any type of physical violence. This type of report can be filed online.
Once the Internet procedure has been completed, you must validate this report within 72 hours at the corresponding police station.
Authority responsible
Any citizen who fulfils the requirements for filing this type of report.
These can be requested at any time.
- This system of reporting cannot be used to report incidents where people have been subject to physical violence.
- This system cannot be used to report any incident in which the victim has seen the offenders or is in a position to identify them.
- The use of this procedure is only valid for submitting reports to the Mossos d'Esquadra or the Local Police (List of Police Stations).
There are no fees associated to this procedure.
