What do you need to know?
This permit allows the holder to transport goods on behalf of a third party in exchange for financial remuneration in a vehicle with a maximum authorised weight of between 2 tonnes and 3.5 tonnes exclusively within the territory of Catalonia.

This procedure can only be completed online. Documents provided via another channel will not be taken into account or considered for the purposes of the submission date.

- If any of the vehicles are hire vehicles, the vehicle registration certificate must state its purpose as ‘Public-Rental without driver’ and the rental contract (or vehicle reservation contract or delivery sheet) must include:
- Identification of the hiring service provider (rental company):
- natural person: name, NIF (tax identification number) and signature;
- legal person: name and CIF (tax identification code).
- Identification of the hiring party (permit holder):
- natural person: name, NIF (tax identification number) and signature;
- legal person: name and CIF of the company and name of the individual representative.
- Identification of the vehicle by registration number or vehicle identification number.
- Duration of the contract.
- Term of the contract: when submitting the application, the contract must be in force.
- Identification of the hiring service provider (rental company):
- Original cards of the permits affected by the change in characteristics. The originals must be taken to the relevant offices in the region in which the permits are in force.
- Have the vehicles covered by the permit.
- Have no outstanding penalties for infringements of transport legislation imposed by a final ruling in an administrative procedure.
- Pay the corresponding fee.
- The data sheet must reflect the new characteristics.
N.B. Requirements not mentioned in the documents section will be requested electronically.

To complete the procedure, you must meet the electronic identification and signature requirements (remember that the idCAT certificate and the electronic DNI are also accepted as digital certificates).
When filling in the information requested, you must enter the code ‘Procedure code (ID)’ on page 1 of the acknowledgement of receipt under ‘Fee payment receipt number’, as shown in this example. If the subsequent check gives an error, it must be reported to our contact mailbox. -
