What do you need to know?
Companies that are engaged in the loading and unloading of goods in the commercial ports affiliated with Ports de la Generalitat (Palamós, Vilanova i la Geltrú and la Ràpita), need to be registered in a census to guarantee the conditions for providing the activity.
Once the registration is authorized, they will be integrated into the Societat d'Estiba dels Ports Catalans acquiring the status of members, and an agreement will be signed regulating the relations of both parties that will be agreed by the board of directors.

This procedure may be requested at any time.
- Explanatory document with details of the activity you intend to carry out, indicating the port where this activity will take place and providing an approximate estimate of business turnover.
- Declaration of economic solvency and declaration of no incompatibility.
There are no fees for this procedure.

You must have a idCAT Mòbil or a digital certificate. If you sign the form as a legal entity, you should use a representative legal person certificate or be registered in Representa, the electronic representation registry. -

- Within 3 months from the date you submit the form. If you have not received it after this period, it is understood that your request has been rejected and you can file an appeal.
How will you receive the answer?
The Administration will send you a notification by:- Email or SMS: if you have indicated your email address or mobile phone number on the form, you will receive a notice to access the electronic notification.
- You have ten calendar days after receiving the notice to access the electronic notification. If after this period you have not accessed the notification, it will be understood that you have rejected it.

Can you file an appeal?
Yes. You have 1 month, from the day after notification of the resolution, to file an appeal with General Directorate responsible for ports of the Generalitat of Catalonia. You must file it by means of a generic petition with signature.
