What do you need to know?
The Official Register of Pesticide Establishments and Services (ROESP) registers all establishments, natural persons and legal entities that manufacture, store, sell or use pesticides.
- Pesticide warehouses
- Establishments based in Catalonia that manufacture, store or sell pesticides or that provide related treatment services in dedicated installations.
- Anyone providing pesticide application services who is headquartered in Catalonia.
- Natural persons and legal entities that manufacture, import or distribute pesticides that are headquartered, but have no establishments, in Catalonia.
Registrations can be made at any time.
Documentation to be attached to the application:
- Els magatzems han d'estar construïts amb materials no combustibles. També han de tenir unes característiques i l'orientació adequades per protegir l'interior de l'edifici de les temperatures exteriors extremes i també de la humitat.
- Els magatzems han d'estar en llocs on s'evitin les inundacions i allunyats de cursos d'aigua.
- Els magatzems han d'estar separats d'habitatges o de locals habitats per una paret d'obra.
- En cas que els productes que s'hagin d'emmagatzemar estiguin classificats com a tòxics (“T”) o inflamables, els magatzems no podran estar en plantes elevades d'edificis habitats.
- En cas que els productes que s'hagin d’emmagatzemar estiguin classificats com a molt tòxics (“T+”), els magatzems han d'estar en àrees obertes i allunyades suficientment d'edificis habitats. També hauran de tenir equips de detecció i protecció personal adients.

Registration applications must be handled within six months of submission. If no response is received within this time, the applications should be deemed to be accepted.What response will be received?
The head of the Plant Health Service (SSV) shall decide whether or not warehouses are entered in the ROESP. The interested parties shall be notified of the decision.
Registrations shall be valid for ten years.Can the information be amended once an establishment has been entered in the ROESP?
The head of the establishment shall be responsible for ensuring the veracity of the information in the register and for keeping it up to date. If the data in the register needs to be changed for any reason, the head of the establishment must notify the relevant body of the changes within two months of the error being detected or the change being made, providing the appropriate supporting documentation.
