What do you need to know?
This is the online notification register of PHV services in Catalonia.
Holders of private hire vehicle permits must give notification of services before they start.

Natural or legal persons providing passenger transport services with up to nine seats.
The following persons are required to give notification:
- Holders of private hire vehicle transport permits, resident in Catalonia, for services originating in Catalonia.
- Holders of private hire vehicle transport permits, resident outside Catalonia, for services provided in Catalonia.
Notification must be given prior to providing the transport service.
Details to be notified according to the type of service:
- Private hire vehicle service:
- Name or business name and tax identification number (TIN) of the provider and hirer. Details of the service hirer must be notified when the necessary notification fields are enabled in the register. It will not be necessary to enter these details in online notifications until this functionality becomes available in the online notification register.
- Place and date of conclusion of the contract.
- Service start place, date and time, and service end place and date. Details of the end place of service may be omitted if the contract expressly states that this place will be freely determined by the parties.
- Vehicle registration number.
- Any other circumstances established, if necessary, by the Administration.
- Taxi service in another area:
- Name or business name and tax identification number (TIN) of the natural or legal person contracting the service and of the natural or legal person who owns the vehicle used for the service.
- Name and tax identification number (TIN) of passengers carried as part of the service. Details of passengers carried must be notified as soon as the necessary notification fields are enabled in the register. It will not be necessary to enter these details in online notifications until this functionality becomes available in the online notification register.
- Service start place, date and time, and service end place.
- Vehicle registration number.
- Type of service agreement (in writing, by phone, online, etc.).
To be the holder of a PHV permit.
There are no fees for this procedure.
