What do you need to know?
These are grants to contribute to the funding of investments or expenses aimed at digital modernisation and that promote environmental sustainability in performing arts (theatre, dance and circus) and musical infrastructures located in Catalonia.
Grants can be awarded to publicly or privately owned and managed facilities, with a stable, professional or non-professional programme, in the performing arts and music.
It includes creation and production centres and equipment that carry out all or most of their activity in the field of performing arts and music.
Rehearsal spaces, discotheques and dance halls, the equipment of entities that carry out all or most of their activity in the educational field, and equipment for mainly educational use are excluded.
Each applicant may submit only one application.
These grants are financed from the funds of the European Next recovery instrument
Generation EU, through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism established by Regulation (EU) 2021/241 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 12 February, within the framework of Component 24, Investment 2 and Project 5.1, relating to the "Modernisation and sustainable management of the performing and musical arts infrastructures" (C24.I2.Project 5.1), of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, which does not involve any contribution to green or digital labellings.
These grants are subject to mandatory online processing and one must have a digital certificate to be able to sign the application.
In the event of an unplanned interruption of the operation of Gencat Procedures, during the last day of the application period, you must immediately send a message reporting the error to the contact mailbox. You must attach the duly signed application form and a screenshot (Print Screen key) where you can see the error message returned by the system and the time when the incident occurred.

Beneficiaries must give visibility to the funding received from the European Union to all the activities, actions and services related to the grant funded action. The logos need to be included, in the informational and dissemination elements of grant-funded actions (posters, leaflets, programmes, etc.), in the following order:
- On the top left, the text "Funded by"
- On the bottom line, on the left, the emblem of the European Union.
- Next, the official logo of the “Government of Spain” and that of “Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan".
- The logo of Next Generation Catalonia.
- The logo of the Government of Catalonia.

Private companies, both natural and legal persons and cooperatives, for-profit and non-profit, are not eligible for these grants.
The deadline for submitting the supporting account for the 2024 call ends on 30 September 2025 (inclusive).
The following documentation must be attached to the form:
- Report of the project carried out.
- Financial settlement*
- Classified report of the expenses of the entire activity to be funded
- Copies of the supporting documents for the entire expenditure.
- Certificate of completion of the funded project
- Report on respect and compliance with the principle of not causing significant harm to the environment (see point 10.b) of the specific rules for more information).
- Data of the final recipient of the funds (if different from the beneficiary)
- Evidence, in the informative and dissemination elements, of the use of the logo of the Government of Catalonia, of the official logo of the "Government of Spain" and the "Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan", preceded by the emblem of the European Union and accompanied by the text "Funded by" as shown on page 16 of this guide, which also includes links to download the logos.
* You must present the same budget-settlement form that you attached to the application form, with the "Amount realised" column filled in.
Local corporations and the bodies attached to them must present the supporting documentation, through the platform EACAT, as specified in point 17.1.b) (supporting account with contribution of statement of compliance for the Intervention) of the general rules.
There are no fees associated with this procedure.
The performing arts or musical use of the property and the funded equipment must be maintained under the following conditions:
- Two years minimum movable property has been acquired
- Five years minimum if a grant is received for renovation work on the property,
Register it in the Property Registry and certify the registration within six months of the completion of the works.

If the notice is not accessed before the access deadline (which is 10 calendar days), it is deemed to have been served for all intents and purposes. This means that the deadline for providing the required documentation begins to run from the day on which the notification has been rejected or has expired. If the documentation is not sent within the following 10 working days (Saturdays and holidays are not considered working days), it will be understood that you have desisted from the grant and a revocation process will be initiated.

Only invoices and proof of payment for a certain number of files will be required. If you have not received a notice requiring invoices and proof of payment, it must be understood that your file has not been included in the verification plan and, therefore, you will not need to submit them.
