ACCIÓ is currently participating in 10 projects co-funded by the European Commission and aimed at fostering internationalisation and innovation in Catalan companies.
In 2016, ACCIÓ was ranked as the 2nd regional development agency as regards EU fund attraction, obtaining a success rate of 80% in the submitted project proposals and becoming a key partner for European consortia.
15 EU projects are running under the current Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-2020 and in the framework of the following EU programmes:
- H2020: Research and innovation funding programme, with a budget of almost 80,000 million euros. (3 projects).
- COSME: Programme to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs, with a budget of 2,300 million euros. (2 projects).
- EuropeAid: The EuropeAid Cooperation Service‘s mission is to strengthen the EU’s collaboration abroad and development cooperation, with a budget of 88,600 million euros. (1 projects).
- Interreg V: European territorial cooperation programme, which has a budget of 9,000 million euros, distributed across different programmes:
- Transnational cooperation : Interreg SUDOE (1 project).
