These Coupons are designed to support you along different pathways and stages of business innovation: from adapting to climate change and protecting your assets through patents and utility models, to facilitating access to European R&D&I projects.

This year, we are also launching a new scheme: AI adoption Coupons. A line designed to help you identify new artificial intelligence solutions for your company.

The decarbonization of your company is a unique opportunity to innovate, improve productivity, and reduce strategic dependencies. Green Innovation Coupons* are the first step to making it happen. They will help you identify new opportunities for technological innovation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions or the risks associated with the climate emergency.

Actions may relate to the use of technologies for preserving the environment; the development of sustainable materials; renewable energy; improving water and resource efficiency; advancing towards the decarbonisation of the economy; or more efficient management of production processes, among others.

* This coupon scheme is part of the Green Innovation programme and is delivered in collaboration with the Department of Territory, Housing and Ecological Transition of the Government of Catalonia.

The Innovation Protection Coupons aim to help companies protect their innovative knowledge in order to maximise the economic return on their innovation.

The actions covered include technical services for the registration of European trademarks, industrial designs, the drafting and registration of patents and utility models, as well as patentability assessments (EP) and freedom-to-operate (FTO) reports.

Maximum grant: €3,000.

The new European R&D&I Programmes Coupons provide the boost your company needs to access European research and innovation funding calls on a collaborative basis. An opportunity to bring your projects to life through programmes such as Horizon Europe, LIFE or the Digital Europe Programme, among others.

Through these Coupons, you will receive advisory support for the preparation and drafting of proposals, consortium building, training in the management of European R&D&I projects, and support on regulatory aspects.

The new AI Adoption Coupons provide an advisory service to support your company in the process of integrating artificial intelligence.

With these grants, you will be able to identify and prioritise the most suitable AI solutions for your business, as well as everything required to make this possible: analyse and prepare the available data, identify the infrastructure needed for implementation, and understand the costs of development and maintenance.

This coupon scheme, promoted jointly with the Secretariat for Digital Policies and within the Catalonia AI 2030 Strategy, aims to position Catalonia as a European benchmark in responsible, safe and ethical artificial intelligence.
