What do I have to do when my wallet is stolen or lost?

If you are robbed or lose your wallet, you must renew all your personal documents.

If your DNI, passport or driver’s license is stolen, you have to file a police report with the Mossos d'Esquadra. This report can be done in person at any police station or by Internet via the virtual police report office of the Mossos d'Esquadra.

If you also had credit or debit cards on you at the time of loss or theft, you must also immediately notify your banking entity to prevent anybody from using them improperly or fraudulently.
