Technological capabilities
The BAPP offers a wide range of technological capabilities that can be transferred to the business sector. These capabilities can be provided as one-off services or integrated into applied research projects jointly with companies. The main technological capabilities are:
- Metabolomic studies: With a wide panel of biomarkers for different biological matrices, in addition to the ability to develop customized analytical methods to monitor specific compounds and biomarkers of pharmacological action or therapeutic effects.
- Clinical trials: Including nutritional intervention studies and Phase I and II pharmacological trials.
- Preclinical studies: Conducted in cellular and animal models, including electrophysiology and behavioral studies.
- Peptide synthesis: With capacity for the synthesis of vaccines and anti-peptide antibodies, as well as for differential proteomic analyses in human tissues and microorganisms.
