Technological capabilities
Projects in the field of:
- Diagnosis, identification and control of causal agents.
- Efficacy of fungicides, bactericides, plant growth promoters and in vitro fertilizers, in vivo and in the field.
- Development of biopesticides and biofertilizers, from the isolation stage, to selection, characterization, determination of efficacy, development of analysis techniques and mechanism of action, production and formulation.
The Center has ISO 9001 certification (2015), the designation as a reference laboratory for other official activities (Erwinia amylovora and Xylella fastidiosa analyses), and as a quarantine and confinement station (X. fastidiosa), and has authorization for GMOs and for work with quarantine pathogens.
