Technological capabilities
DigiFACT focuses on innovation and technology transfer to industry, especially in the development of advanced products and digital manufacturing processes.
The group covers a wide range of industries, from consumer products to customized solutions, metallic and polymeric materials, digital manufacturing and energy transition. Its proposition is based on expertise in mechanical, electronic and chemical industrial technologies, applied to the entire value chain: materials, design, production process and validation.
Its four key areas for technology transfer are:
- Digital Design (additive manufacturing, mechanics, electronics and Industry 4.0).
- Materials for the Digital Factory (simulation, characterization and validation of advanced products).
- Media for the Digital Factory (design of capital goods and robotic systems).
- Digital Production (additive, subtractive manufacturing and plastic shaping, pre-series and assembly of demonstrators).
