Technological capabilities
The URV, through the TECNIO DOPS centre, has an integrated technological platform that covers the entire R&D cycle in green and sustainable chemistry. This infrastructure combines digital molecular design through quantum simulation and artificial intelligence, continuous flow synthesis with optimised chiral catalysts of a modular nature, both monomeric and immobilized on solid supports, and intelligent process monitoring with advanced sensors and real-time data analysis.
This full-stack approach reduces experimental testing by up to 70%, minimises costs, improves sustainability and significantly accelerates time-to-market. Technological capabilities include the development of catalysts for selective CO₂ conversion, clean hydrogen production and the synthesis of complex molecules for circular chemistry, as well as predictive quality control modules and digital twins. This proposal is highly transferable to industrial sectors such as the chemical, pharmaceutical, energy or food sectors.
