Technological capabilities
Technological capabilities in energy are supported by thermal energy storage, including renewable energies, energy efficiency, and applications in buildings, the urban and rural environment, and industry.
Artificial intelligence is linked to the control of systems and the development of new components and new materials, while optimization in energy management enables the design and intensification of production processes in the field of chemical engineering. All this is done in accordance with criteria of sustainability, circularity and social acceptance of technology.
Technological fields

Clean energy, Smart Grid/Distributed networks, Energy harvesting

Decarbonization

Big Data + IA
Relevant equipment
Laboratory equipment such as calorimeters (DSCs and TGA) and a hot disk that can work at up to 800o C, as well as a high-performance cluster. Pilot and demonstration plants are also available to test the technology at high TRLs.
