The IQS Tech Transfer Medi Ambient agent has the SGR GESPA and SGR CONHATIVE groups. The GESPA group combines chemical engineering, biotechnology and chemical analysis to address challenges such as climate change, decarbonization, water scarcity and sustainability. Its research includes greenhouse gas mitigation, water reuse, circular economy, and analysis of emerging pollutants. It also has a laboratory for the analysis of contaminants such as dioxins, microplastics and cyanotoxins. The CONHATIVE group, headed up by Dr. Belén Derqui, focuses on sustainability and food waste.
