Technological capabilities
- We have textile pilot plants for mechanical recycling, obtaining fibers from agricultural by-products, producing nanofibers through electrospinning and carrying out complete dyeing and finishing processes.
- We apply textiles to obtain composites and biocomposites with polymers or cement, we characterize printing inks and auxiliaries with tensiometric and surface tension measurements, and we analyze particle size by laser scattering to ensure the effectiveness of paints and coatings.
- We develop ICT technologies, sensors and antennas to create smart fabrics aimed at the fields of health and sports.
- We carry out logistics and optimization studies for the textile value chain.
- We apply advanced technologies in the treatment, purification and reuse of industrial water, such as biochemical reactors, membrane filtration, control of emerging pollutants and optimization systems for environmental sustainability.
