Technological capabilities
MCIA Innovation Electronics is a leading research and innovation center in scientific research and technology transfer in three main areas:
- The Digital Industry: Monitoring and optimization of industrial processes and energy equipment through digitalization, including microgrids, HVAC systems, digital twins, predictive maintenance, and data-driven processes.
- Sustainable Mobility: Design of traction and control equipment for electric vehicles, high-performance electric motors and battery management systems.
- High Power Electrical Systems: Improving the transport and use of electrical energy through the design and control of electrical equipment, supervision of electrical systems and installations, including high voltage transmission, corona effect and HTLS conductors.
