- Molecular virology of Hepatitis A and E viruses: Development of new vaccines (patent PCT/EP2024/071490) and studies with human intestinal and hepatic organoids.
- Astrovirus humans: Studies of the viral exit process from intestinal organoids and antigen transfer for diagnosis.
- Viral food and water safety: SAVCA laboratory accredited ISO 17025 for the detection of norovirus, hepatitis A and other pathogens, with innovative techniques to estimate viral infectivity.
