ACCIÓ participates in sixteen projects funded by the European Commission with the aim of improving internal services to strengthen the competitiveness of Catalan companies by promoting internationalization and innovation in our local business structure.
For years, ACCIÓ has been one of the regional public agencies for the promotion of business in Europe that has received the most funds from the European Commission, obtaining funding for more than 50% of the projects for which it applied.
The projects in which ACCIÓ participates are part of the following programs (budget period 2021-2027):

The EU's main funding program for research and innovation, with a budget of €95.5 billion (2 projects: RETRIEVE, RInnoValleys).
Single Market Program. Open in a new window.
It is the EU's €4.2 billion funding program to help the single market reach its full potential and ensure Europe's recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic (2 projects: CATCIM 22-25, ATLAS).
Digital Europe Programme. Open in a new window.
EU funding program to help businesses, public administrations and citizens adopt new digital technologies (1 project: DIH4CAT).
International Partnerships – EuropaAid. Open in a new window.
EuropaAid: Program to design and establish new international cooperation within the European Union to develop sustainable development policies (1 project: Euromed Clusters Forward).
Interreg VI. Open in a new window.
European cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation program with a budget of €10 billion, with a contribution from the FEDER, distributed among various programs (3 Interreg Europe projects: ACCELERATE GDT, PLASTIX, DeepTechValleys; 1 Interreg POCTEFA project: PHYrene).

Program to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe, with an estimated budget of €26.2 billion (1 project: METASKILLS4TCLF as "Associated Partner").
Cascade Funding. Open in a new window.
Cascade funding, also known as Financial Support for Third Parties (FSTP), is a Commission mechanism to distribute public funding in order to assist beneficiaries in the uptake or development of digital innovation. It also starts from an ongoing project on which these beneficiaries can be added during the course of the project (1 project: EEN2EIC).

Program to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs with a budget of €2.3 billion (1 project: GOOSE).
