The Construction Engineering Centre is a consolidated and benchmark agent in the development of new sustainable materials and structures, with a global perspective, considering the process in a holistic and comprehensive way from different stages. The centre’s main lines of activity are: i) sustainability of concrete and smart structures, ii) sustainable construction techniques, iii) sustainable bridge design and construction, iv) structural health monitoring, and v) multifunctional sustainable materials.
