The Catalonia Trade & Investment Office in Buenos Aires is directed by Horacio Babini, an Argentinian expert in international relations and international trade who has over 10 years’ experience in helping Catalan companies successfully to enter some of the Southern Cone’s main markets.
The International Office of Catalonia in Buenos Aires, which opened in 1989, is one of its most firmly established. It is currently located in the Belgrano district, one of the city’s most dynamic commercial poles. To do business in Argentina, nearly a hundred projects have been launched in almost all sectors since 2015, although those in the fields of industrial systems, the experience industry and chemicals and energy are the most significant.
Although most of the projects are focused on marketing (the search for channels, scheduling business meetings, market research and prospection), deployment projects through its soft landing service are also significant.
