The Catalonia Trade & Investment office in Copenhagen opened in 1991. It is directed by Ipsen Irmela, who receives support from a further two consultants, and is located in the heart of the city, next to the Town Hall square. The office promotes projects to help Catalan companies to do business not only in Denmark, but also in the rest of Scandinavia and in the Baltic Republics.
Many of the companies that use the office’s services operate in the fields of food, the experience industry and design. The projects most frequently performed here entail helping to find customers, distributors and suppliers at destination. It also offers specialized services in international innovation.
